A typical task in turbine construction is the synchronous data acquisition of a multitude of dynamic measurement quantities such as

• temperature
• pressure
• extension
• acceleration
• sound pressure and
• rotational speed.

Furthermore, all the requisite measurement channels have to be monitored and observed in real time. This is where the PAK application Online Monitoring comes into its own. Also available are analysis modules that can be used to analyze, among other things, vane wheel or rotor imbalance on multiple levels. This minimizes the imbalance and the associated mechanical vibrations.

Mechanical vibrations are not only dedicated to imbalances, but also by vane wheel vibrations caused through pressure changes. PAK features analyzers for effective tracing of such phenomena, e.g. angle-based sampling.
